Welcome! The word "liturgy" comes from the Greek word leitourgia which means "work of the people." As Catholics, we use the word "liturgy" to refer to the celebration of the Mass, the center of our faith life. Together, as a parish family, we are all called to participate in the liturgy through our prayer, song and spoken responses at Mass. Some of us also feel called to serve at Mass as liturgical ministers. Liturgical ministry is an excellent opportunity to fulfill your baptismal call of service to one another. Our liturgies utilize the talents and gifts that God has given this community to the fullest extent. Whether participation is through “behind the scenes” preparation and planning or through a public role of service within the Mass, parishioner contributions help our liturgies to be truly life-giving celebrations. Please prayerfully consider joining one of these ministries.
VIsit the parish office and speak to Msgr. John for more inforamtion on joining a Liturgical Ministry.
